Read For Mustang History here.The Ford Mustang was the vision of Lee Iacocca, who was Ford’s General Manager in 1964. He had envisioned a small sports car to be the next hot muscle car in street races. This is when they came up with the pony car class, which the Ford Mustang helped create. In the history of the Ford Mustang, there have been many car collectors and enthusiasts. This has created a marketplace for Ford Mustang memorabilia. When the Ford Mustangs were first introduced in 1964, the sleek, modern sports cars inspired many car clubs, shows, rallies, and swap meets. These are all excellent sources to view vintage Ford Mustangs and other memorabilia that were part of the history of the Ford Mustang.

The Ford Mustang has its own club, Mustang Club of America, which was formed in 1977. The organization has more than 170 chapters located in the United States and Canada. They have published their own magazine, the Mustang Times, since they first started. Mustang Club Books is the official online bookstore for this club that carries large selections of books about Mustangs, racing and the general history of the Ford Mustang.

There are other collector’s items, when it comes to the history of the Ford Mustang. The Mustang played a huge part in the racing world, and there are posters, die-cast models, logo clothing, signs, and vintage Ford Mustang owner’s manuals. Ford Mustang memorabilia can be found on the Internet at various websites. Vintage Ford Mustangs are still a car collector’s dream.
